Project Brief

The contents of this case study focus on UX elements I worked on.

The project brief was to develop an online platform that allowed in house travel agents to bundle together an Umrah package to sell within minutes. The problem was that due to the multi-element dynamics of an Umrah package, no suitable platform was available on the market to do so. The platform would allow the agent to build this package within minutes and allow them to come back to view, book and edit any specific parts of the package in order improve conversion rates (B2B platform).

However, on discussion with the project board, it was also agreed that the core functionality of this platform could be made into an online travel agent that could be used to directly sell to customers where they could log on and ‘Tailor-make their Umrah online’ (B2C platform).

I was both the product owner and lead UX designer for this project.
