Wireframing / Prototyping - Low Fidelity

I then set off wireframing simple prototypes to test with users. I started with low fidelity wireframes using Adobe XD to create variations of the mobile experience on the home page and initial search. These variations were tested both in house and then with ‘in the wild’ users where we used A/B multivariate testing to see what users preferred.

Example Key Findings:

  • Users preferred to fill in forms when they could see all the data they were expected to fill out (Variation 2) instead of continuing to having to fill out data where they abandoned the form if they weren’t sure how much data they would have to fill in (Variation 1).

  • Users liked the familiarity of the form fields in ‘Variation 2’ as they were used to using travel sites.

  • They felt a sense of satisfaction in completing the data form they could see.

I used this method of creating and testing each part of the platform with different users to match the user flows and information architecture by working with umrah agents and running design sprints to prototype the entire platform.
